Wow 17 years!!

It is hard to believe that Jeff and I have been married 17 years as of yesterday August 30th, 2008.
For our anniversary we went to Park City for the night, although we enjoyed a great time and mostly relaxed (that was great) we only got a few pitchers of the cars at the Mustang show on Park City Main Street. I guess after 17 years we know what each other looks like and figure the cars would be of more interest to our 3 boys. We also found Connor the perfect car for his 16th birthday.

Fun in Chicago!

The good and the bad!
My work is great I get to adventure out to some places that I would not get to see, but the bad is I have to leave my family and even though this was a short 2 day 1 night trip, I still missed them.
Last Wednesday I went to Chicago, what a fun town, they loved us so much they even did a full out firework show for us. We rode one of the countries largest Farris wheels. I do have to say the view from my room was the best, I left my room that morning with a great sunrise. I had fun with my coworkers, and met a Research Coordinator from LA. We all had fun and even with getting lost on the way to the navy Pier we had a blast. Oh and we did attend all meetings!

The First Day of School 2008

The kids are back in school and I can't belive that summer is over again. I was able to get the 3 youngest to pose for first day of school pitures, but Connor said no way. I guess when you are in High School first day of school is not that big of deal.

Wow Connor Turned 16!!

Can you believe it Connor had his 16th birthday party this week. We decided that he needed a surprise party and he really had no clue. It had been a long hot day and we also had a family reunion, I then told him that his grandma needed his help getting ready for a party that he was going to that night, so like the good kid he is he went and helped his grandma make goodies for the party she was going to. He had no clue that the party was for him so he helped cook up the treats for his party. Earlier that week I had used his phone to text his friends and invite them to a surprise party, I cant believe that not one of them blew the surprise. When the time came about 45 friends came to say happy birthday to him. It was a great party for him, there was even fireworks that night for his party (the county fair paid for it;-). He was very surprised and I think that it made it a very happy 16 for him.

Fun At The Utah County Fair!

Today I decided to take the last Friday before school started and enjoy the day with my kids, well by the time it came down to it only Madison and Hunter wanted to spend the day with me.(They are getting to old to want to play with me:-() It was decided that we would go to the county fair. They had fun but the favorite was climbing the rock wall with that the National Guard had set up. It took a few tries but they ended making it and having a great time. I think or I know my kids must have a monkey gene in them.
